SENG 2016 Children’s Enrichment ProgramThe SENG Conference is such a place where connections are made. If gifted adults sometimes feel as if they’re on island in a sea of misunderstanding, gifted children can feel even more isolated without intense and passionate peers! Children and teens have a forum to meet others on their ‘wave length’.
The 2016 Children and Teen’s program is produced in collaboration with the College of William and Mary. It features a keystone course entitled, “All About Me,” affording each young person an opportunity to delve into their strengths, weaknesses, individuality. All classes will be on William and Mary’s beautiful, historic campus. Children will be engaged, challenged, stretched. Families of participants are invited to become better acquainted on Thursday July 21, 2016 from 6.00pm – 7.30pm. Pizza and beverages will be served. The program officially begins the next morning Friday, July 22, 2016 at 8.00 am. A bus will shuttle students from The Williamburg Lodge to the College of William and Mary (15 minutes on foot), for their classes and lunch. After a day of enriching activities, students will again be transported back to The Lodge to meet their parents. The schedule resumes Saturday and Sunday, concluding Sunday at noon.
